Based in California, DoctorGeek opened its doors in 2004. Owner Susan Kullmann has solid experience as a web developer, IT manager, trainer, and consultant. Her professional work meshes a continuing fascination with computer technology and a love of teaching learners of any age.

Born and raised in New York. I've taught at all levels of education, either formally or informally.... Graduate work at Carnegie-Mellon University hooked me on computers; they've been a part of my teaching, research, and learning since then.

That's what Susan wrote in 1996 when she "designed" her first web page as a faculty member at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. That first simple web page was an inspiration for later academic websites. She's developed many site's since then, pretty much starting with one she created in 1997 to teach Cal Poly Pomona's first totally online US history course. Susan (formerly Kullmann Puz) trained hundreds of college professors how to design and maintain website's themselves.
